Our Service
We are a small, family owned business specialising in the custom printing of ribbons and sashes to individuals and businesses to enhance their products and special occasions. We aim to provide high quality products at competitive prices, with the highest level of customer service.
Orders are despatched in 2-3 working days from order. We may be able to offer a next day service – please contact us by email ( sales@ribbon-esque.co.uk ) or telephone – 07552 219846.
Standard dispatch method is 2nd class letter post, for which there is no charge. Guaranteed next day delivery is available for an extra charge.
If you are not entirely delighted, you can return your unused ribbons for a full refund or replacement, within 7 days of receipt.
We can produce ribbon lengths from 1 metre upwards. Our price list has popular lengths. Contact us for a price if you need more than 20 metres.
We do not normally supply a proof, but can do so if requested. The order confirmation will list every detail of your ordered product. We transfer text from your order into our software and will always amend or advise obvious errors or contact you if we are unsure of your intentions.
Contact us immediately by phone or email. If we have not made your order, we can amend the details. If the order has been manufactured or dispatched, we regret that we will not be able to offer a refund
Our Products
We use the highest quality satin ribbons, with a calendared finish to give the best print quality, all with woven edges. Our narrower ribbons are double faced, ideal for gift wrapping, whilst 38, 48 and 100mm widths are single faced. For sashes we use a 100mm wide.
We use the heat transfer foil printing method. A layer of ink is thermally applied to the surface of the ribbon.
No. Printing in more than 1 colour is a more expensive process with larger minimum runs.
Our standard ribbons are designed for decorative use. The print is not washable and can abrade. We can however quote for a more durable, machine washable product.
Yes, but if the ribbon is tied and untied there me be some print abrasion.
For best effect, have the maximum contrast between ribbon and print colour, for example, white on navy blue, metallic gold on ivory. We will contact you if your selection will not give a good result.
There is some variation in colours due to the manufacturing process and monitor / device screen settings. Therefore all colours must be accepted as having some variability.
Your Design
Our only limitation is the maximum 100 cm repeat. We suggest a maximum of 100 characters to achieve the best effect.
Yes you can, You will need to detail this in the special instructions box on our order page.
Yes, but only on our wider 38 and 48mm ribbons. The letters would be too small on narrower ribbons.
Our repeat can be set at any length up to 100cm, and will be determined by the font and length of message. We adjust the repeat to maximise the effect of the finished ribbon.
We have chosen a number of fonts which we know give a pleasing result, but you can choose an alternative, provided it is included in our software package.
You can choose up to 2 graphics. We will alternate these with your message i.e.

Our ordering system includes a wide selection of graphics which cover a variety of events / situations. If you have a specific design, it needs to be single colour, with as much contrast as possible. Fine detail will not show up well on 10 mm ribbons. We are unable to print licensed designs and logos.
Yes, of course. If you are cutting ribbons into lengths, for example for favours, you can tell us the repeat or favour length in the special instructions box. E.g.
- Message Length required 22 cm
We supply sashes unsewn with self-adhesive Velcro strips. This allows you to change the length for each person in your party.
Yes. Just specify the total number of sashes and list the names in the special instructions box.
